A CNN Host Who Loves Israel

Pro-Israel critics of the media, and particularly of CNN, should check out "The Glenn Beck Program" to give their high blood pressure a respite.
Beck, 42 and host of what is considered the fastest-growing TV show in cable news, can make Bibi Netanyahu look like a dove. The baby-faced former Top 40 radio disc jockey has been known to describe Saudi Arabian leaders as "nut jobs" and "dirt bags" and says that if America doesn't support and protect Israel, "we will lose our only strategic ally in the Mideast and we will lose our souls."
Yes, Beck, an admitted former alcoholic and drug addict, is now a devout Christian who believes in an Armageddon in which millions will die. He also believes in God's love for Israel, and he is not shy about discussing his own support for the Jewish state on his hour-long show that airs nightly at 7 p.m. on CNN Headline News, perhaps positioned to counter the success of Fox's right-wing programming.
Beck, whose manner is pleasant and friendly, bordering on gee-whiz, also hosts a daily radio talk show heard on more than 230 stations and is a regular contributor on "Good Morning America."
"It's a horrible thing to admit, but prior to 9/11 my view of the Mideast was basically, ‘will this fighting never stop, and just solve it yourselves'," he explained during a recent interview.
The World Trade Center tragedy forced him to think about why "so much hatred was generated toward the U.S., and I started to do my homework." He said he did a great deal of reading (including the Bible and the Koran) and talking to people, focusing on why the U.S. "sends so much money to the Mideast for oil" and trying to discern who are America's real friends in the region.
He concluded that Israel is "our only real hope for sanity" in the Mideast, and "my gut tells me that Israel is one of the world's great hopes."
Beck visited Israel several years ago and said he had two powerful moments there that reinforced his positive feelings toward the Jewish state. One was when he visited a bomb shelter where gas masks and injection kits were being distributed in case of attack. He said that when he noticed that the signs were in Hebrew, English and Arabic, he wondered why, if Israelis really hated the Arabs, they would "hand out medicine to save Arab lives.
"That experience really opened my eyes and showed me that Israel is the closest to America" in shared values, he said.
The second experience was walking from the Jewish section of Jerusalem to the Palestinian side and feeling that, within a few steps, he had gone "from clean to dirty and dark and dank."
Beck said he realized that the Jews shared a belief that "we can make it," whatever the circumstances, while the Arabs have leaders who tell their people "you've been conquered and you'll never make it.
"It's all about control and power and politics," he said.
Beck's outspoken support for Israel, beginning on his nationally syndicated radio show in 2002, brought death threats almost immediately, he recalled, and he was given extra protection.
He calls himself "a realist," though, and not "a blind supporter of Israel," asserting that the leadership of Israel has made "horrible mistakes, but who hasn't? Every country has its bloody noses."
Critics, particularly on the left, have accused Beck of using "hateful rhetoric," and he apologized for questioning the patriotism of Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minnesota), the first Muslim to be elected to Congress. "That might come from my lack of intelligence," Beck said, saying his remark to Ellison was "quite possibly the poorest-worded question of all time."
Of late, Beck has talked a great deal about what he calls the "perfect storm," a combination of terrorism, Islamic militancy, hatred of the West and oil that could spell doom for the free world.
"I believe we are headed for dark times," he says. "I truly believe that we are living in 1938 and the trains are loaded." The only way to prevent disaster, he says, is for liberals and conservatives to come together and look for ways to work together to defeat our common enemy.
Beck thinks the media spin on the Mideast situation is "horribly out of whack" and biased against Israel. The only solution, which he says applies to the U.S. as well as Israel, is to "to do the right thing, be good and just continue to beat your head against the wall until the truth prevails."

Dumbass Sarah Palin Pulls Out Some Serious Doublespeak
So the question is what would President Palin do about illegal immigration. While Oreilly leads her in the direction she agrees to send troops to secure the border.
Now she claims that she would have every mexican here illegally report in and send in a form. Now would you deport these ILLEGAL immigrants who have already broken the law to come here? Not in President Palin's world, you issue these immigrants greencards and send them on their merry way like this guy.
I post this of course to show people the true nature of Sarah Palin. For regular readers I wholeheartedly apologize for having to not only listen to neo con entertainer bill oreilly, but to sit through and listen to the absolutely ridiculous, mindless blather that flows from palins mouth.

Wow Our "Choices" Sucked In 2008
Certainly not new news here but again another video I came across on youtube and I just sat back in disbelief that our "choices" were so piss poor in 2008. I don't need to tell any logical person why marxist Obama is a crappy president, so I won't. But watch this clip of Palin and you will be in awe of the utter stupidity that flows from her mouth.

Who Are The Jews Behind Palin 2012?

When Sarah Palin was asked by Barbara Walters late last year whether she supported a freeze on settlement growth in the West Bank, Palin issued an emphatic no. But her reasoning confounded many: “More and more Jewish people will be flocking to Israel in the days and weeks and months ahead. And I don’t think that the Obama administration has any right to tell Israel that the Jewish settlements cannot expand.”
Who were these Jews, and why were they “flocking”? Those predisposed to be critical of the former Alaska governor and Republican vice presidential nominee, such as writer and blogger Jeffrey Goldberg, saw Palin’s evangelical Christian roots showing. She was clearly expressing some kind of end-of-days theology, he said, that demands the ingathering of Jews before the Second Coming and its accompanying rapture (an event that doesn’t bode well for the Jews).
But Goldberg’s reading, though certainly the dominant interpretation, was not the only one. Benyamin Korn, a Philadelphia-based activist and former editor of the Jewish Exponent, heard something less apocalyptic in Palin’s words.
“If you work with Nefesh B’Nefesh, then you know exactly what she meant,” Korn said, referring to the Zionist group that facilitates North American immigration to Israel. “She understands that Zionism, which means the Jews should live in the Land of Israel, is a vital force. That’s all.”
Korn is the founder of a new group called Jewish Americans for Sarah Palin, and his efforts are part of some recent Jewish support that has been trickling in the direction of the hockey mom from Wasilla. Even though American Jews have repeatedly disapproved of her in large numbers in poll after poll, giving her abysmally low approval ratings, her recent high-profile jabs at the president have earned her support from some of the most prominent Jewish conservatives today.
Not only does she continue to receive the hearty backing of William Kristol, editor and publisher of The Weekly Standard and contributor to Fox News, but at the end of March, Norman Podhoretz, former editor of Commentary and godfather of the neoconservative movement, took to the op-ed page of The Wall Street Journal to offer a “defense of Sarah Palin.” He compared the ridicule that has greeted her arrival on the national scene to the laughter at Ronald Reagan’s expense when Reagan became the Republican presidential nominee. Podhoretz’s argument boiled down to this: “What she does know — and in this respect, she does resemble Reagan — is that the United States has been a force for good in the world, which is more than Barack Obama, whose IQ is no doubt higher than hers, has yet to learn.”
Podhoretz closed by dramatically proclaiming that he would “rather have Sarah Palin sitting in the Oval Office than Barack Obama.”
But these are neoconservative intellectuals, most of whom — as an article in the January issue of Commentary by Jennifer Rubin illustrated — are spending their time trying to figure out why Palin “rubs Jews the wrong way.” Is there anyone in the American Jewish community at large willing to wear a Palin 2012 button? Korn thinks there is, and it’s this demand he’s hoping to fulfill.
It should be said that as of yet, Jewish Americans for Sarah Palin has not published a list of the “doctors, lawyers, professors, rabbis” that Korn said support his efforts. At this point, there is little evidence that his constituency is more than one — though Korn has managed to put together a fairly professional-looking website. But with an increasing number of American Jews anxious about what they see as the undue pressure that Obama is applying on Israel, Korn thinks that more of them will come to see Palin’s value.
He doesn’t hide the fact that, in his eyes, her main strength is just how much she irritates those on the left.
“She has the ability to get under the skin of the opponents and particularly this president,” Korn said. “And from the point of view of someone who opposes what this president is doing, particularly on Israel policy, I’m glad that she has that ability.”
Korn himself has an unusual background. Up until the mid-1980s, he was a self-proclaimed “left-wing organizer” who taught pan-African studies, was a Central America solidarity activist and worked at a jazz radio station in Philadelphia with Mumia Abu-Jamal. He even voted for Jimmy Carter in 1980. He then had a radical transformation, switched to Orthodox from Reform Judaism and became a strident pro-Israel activist, an opponent of, as he put it, the “series of concessions that are called the peace process.” Eventually Korn, now 54, even headed the Zionist Organization of America.
His attraction to Palin began when he first saw her speak at the Republican National Convention. He had never even heard of her before then.
“I was captivated — not by her looks, for goodness sake — but by her charisma, her brilliance, her grasp not just of the issues, but of the moment,” Korn said. “Which is a very different thing in politics, to understand the moment. And it is because of my understanding of the moment that we hurried to launch this organization. I have been an admirer of hers since then.”
Korn went live with his website, JewsforSarah.com, earlier than expected in mid-April, a response, he said, to comments by President Obama that appeared in the New York Times on April 14, linking continued conflicts in the Middle East with the danger to American soldiers
in the region. Korn called this a “modern blood libel” and decided that it was the right time to go public with his creation — “our motivation is so strongly in reaction to what is coming out of Obama,” Korn insisted.
It’s not clear though that Korn or any other high-profile Jewish supporter can swing American Jews behind Palin. A recent blog post by Jonathan Chait on The New Republic’s website in mid-April, titled “The Non-Mystery of Why Jews Hate Palin,” pointed to recent comments in which Palin referred to the United States as a “Christian nation” and questioned the separation of church and state. No wonder, he wrote, that Jews find her distasteful.
And yet, as Palin gains acceptance, however small, in certain Jewish quarters, she undoubtedly becomes more credible for a larger American Jewish audience, of which some members are eager to find a fitting opponent to the president.
Seth Lipsky, former editor of the New York Sun and of this publication, is friendly with Kristol and Podhoretz and shares some of their neoconservative views. He doesn’t offer an endorsement of Palin, but he does welcome the formation of Korn’s group and believes that Palin is “staking out a terrific set of positions.”

“I’ve been telling people that the situation reminds me a little bit of the 1984 presidential campaign, when Vice President Mondale challenged Reagan,” Lipsky wrote in an e-mail to the Forward. “Mondale discovered that Reagan was under the impression that once an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile was fired, it could be recalled in flight and brought back to base. He ridiculed Reagan mercilessly. I said or wrote at the time that this was the difference between Mondale and Reagan — Mondale knew how the missile worked and Reagan knew whom to point it at. And that’s how I feel about Mrs. Palin. She may not know as many details as some of the other candidates, but she comprehends whom we’re up against.”

Danny Glover Is A Dumbass
KSDK -- Seismologists say the Haitian earthquake was caused by a shifting of the region's tectonic plates. Actor and activist Danny Glover believes the earthquake in Haiti was caused by climate change and global warming.
In an interview with Grit TV, Glover called the response to the earthquake a "defining moment for the administration" and a chance to form a new relationship.
Glover hinted that a lack of sound environmental regulations was a contributing factor. "When we did what we did at the climate summit in Copenhagen.. this is the response.. this is what happens.. we have to act now."

"Wow, that really sounded familiar because I talked too in my book about the fallen nature of man and why war is necessary at times." Gee, maybe he has read your book, or maybe you both have the same puppet master and try your damndest to sell the public on perpetual war.
"Of course, war is the last thing I believe any American wants to engage in, but it's necessary. We have to stop these terrorists." Stop the terrorists huh? Well considering our presence in the middle east and always siding with an oppressive rogue state like Israel is the reason there is "terrorism" in the first place, I don't think staying meddled in foreign affairs is the answer. Get Mike Huckabee Off The Air
As you can see by clicking on the Mike Huckabee (Or Dumbass) tag in this blog, I have seen through the act put on by this big government socialist posing as a Christian since his introduction to the national stage and have called him out at every step of the way.
At the very same time when the MSM was showering him with praises and giving him the spotlight I dug up some dirt on the SOB and got it to the front page of Digg. This sent many thousands of people to this website and soon after his political campaign imploded. I'm not implying that I single handily sunk his campaign but using Digg.com (liberal) I was able to spread the Truth about him and it certainly didn't help his campaign.
Now though I don't want to end his campaign I want to end his career. I want him off the airwaves forever. Any rationale person who is passionate about Freedom can see this man is a snake in the grass. He talks the talk and leads well intentioned people astray (kinda like this guy). Along with Nancy Pelosi, Obama, and Clinton, Huckabee made it to the top 10 most corrupt politicians list by non partisan Judicial Watch.

What lunatic would pardon a murderer based solely on that murderer’s claim that he was a reformed man? Mike Huckabee. A political leader must have good judgment and shouldn’t be easily fooled, but Huckabee is a complete sucker for a good sob story, and his track record of pardons and commutations is rock solid proof.
How does Huckabee respond when he is faced with his track record or the Wayne DuMond case? He LIES. Huckabee has tried to blame former governors for the early release of Wayne DuMond. In reality, Bill Clinton put DuMond away without possibility of parole. Governor Jim Guy Tucker reduced DuMond’s jail sentence to 39 years. But it was Mike Huckabee who held a closed-door meeting with the parole board (in violation of Arkansas law) and pressured them to approve a parole of Wayne DuMond. One source notes “The parole board votes 4-1 in favor of probation with the requirement that DuMond leave Arkansas.” (Does that sound like the parole board truly thought DuMond should be free?)
The Arkansas Times reports “Huckabee’s office then released a letter to Dumond (which said) ‘My desire is that you be released from prison.’ ” An article in the L.A. Times reports “Though he acknowledged discussing the case with the state parole board, Huckabee said that conversation was ’simply part of a broader discussion’ initiated at the request of the board chairman. ‘I did not ask them to do anything,’ he said. Three board members recalled it differently. They said Huckabee raised the issue of DuMond’s release, asking to discuss the matter with them in a closed session. They said his religious beliefs, and the influence of the evangelical community from which he came, drove him. ‘We felt pressured by him,’ said board member Ermer Pondexter. ‘I felt compelled to do it. . . . It was a favor for the governor.’ Looking back, she added, ‘I regret it.’ Parole board member Deborah Springer Suttlar said Huckabee did not mince his feelings about DuMond: ‘He wanted him out.’ ”
Huckabee’s deceitful denials of his role in the parole of Wayne DuMond reveals the dark side of Huckabee’s character. Not surprisingly, Huckabee’s website resorts to wholesale deceit on other issues where his real record is out of step with ordinary Republicans. If Americans want their streets full of illegal aliens and early-released rapists and murderers, then Mike Huckabee is their man. If Americans want the law enforced and someone, who genuinely opposes Amnesty for illegals, they may want to consider voting for Ron Paul for president

If You Support Sarah Palin You Are An Idiot
There, I've said it and it's out in the open. People cling to Palin like she is God's gift to the Republican party. They think because she has a book entitled "Going Rogue" that she is actually a Rogue and fighting the establishment.
The part that perplexes me beyond belief, maybe not perplexes me as much as it is just me not wanting to admit the idiocy of the American public, but you have someone who REALLY does stand for everything America was founded on, individual freedom, free markets, non interventionist foreign policy, sound money etc. and that man is Dr. Ron Paul. Dr Paul with his unblemished record of devout service to our rule of law (The Constitution) is held with contempt among the Palin supporters. I have yet to meet a Palin admirer who also likes Dr. Ron Paul. That is what is so utterly vexing to me, Dr. Paul is everything Palin claims to be and yet the sheep go after the ditzy bimbo rather than the Doctor who has the knowledge and foresight to actually save that tattered remnants of our Republic.
You want a rogue? You want someone who can stand before EVERY SINGLE member of Congress and vote down a bill because it is not authorized by the Constitution. That man is Dr. Ron Paul, he has been the lone no vote more times than every other Congressman combined. He has the integrity to stand on his own, to be a true Rogue and not just pay lipservice to the term.

In the 2008 Presidential race when I was just getting geared up in this blog, I came across information that put the nail in Huckabee's coffin. The story is the biggest one I have ever had and we received over 10,000 hits in a matter of days, the story made it to the front page of Digg which has an audience of 30 million. I don't know if I would go so far as to say that I ended his chances in 2008, but certainly I got the word out about his CFR involvement and his poll ratings plummeted from there on out. “The greatest threat to classic Republicanism is not liberalism; it’s this new brand of libertarianism, which is social liberalism and economic conservatism, but it’s a heartless, callous, soulless type of economic conservatism because it says ‘look, we want to cut taxes and eliminate government. If it means that elderly people don’t get their Medicare drugs, so be it. If it means little kids go without education and healthcare, so be it.’ Well, that might be a quote pure economic conservative message, but it’s not an American message.”
