In a murder-for-hire, targeted Individual couple case involving the FBI, yesterday, the Court granted Cyndi Steele's Motion to Vacate the No Contact Order in part, allowing her to see her husband, a rights defender exposing human trafficking, now in solitary confinement for state accused attempted murder of his wife with a WMD, a pipe-bomb. Repeatedly, Mrs. Steele has stated that she does not believe her husband was involved in a plot to kill her. "As soon as Ed, author of one book, Defensive Racism, said the word, there is a book in this bride scam business. He went from merely on the watch list, to being set up with a pipe bomb placed under his wife's car by the handyman and then blamed, as if he was the mastermind in a plot to kill his wife and mother-in-law," stated Hoyt.

Mr. Hoyt told the Examiner, "The problem is that there is no organization to help [Targeted Individuals] because people are afraid and silenced by these murderers, like Aaron Russeau, the movie producer of Freedom to Fascism who was killed by induced cancer.

Painter is the Targeted Individual who wrote to President Obama requesting that he halt the widespread torture an assassination attacks on innocent listed people, offering to help him, and vowing to copy the letter to other nation's leaders due to the extremist nature of the crime.
The two Idaho Targeted Individuals have been unable to speak to each other since June with one exception, a supervised visit in th presence of Mr. Steele's attorney.
Hoyt told the human rights national news Examiner yesterday, "The point is that part of the KGB Playbook that the Government is following requires that the Targeted Individual be isolated, so that people cannot get their cards and letters through to bring him hope."
Hoyt suggests that people who want to show support for Ed write to him c/o a designated recipient who can open the letters and "so that Cyndi can tell Ed about the volume of support and the outpouring of empathy from the outside world.
"Even though he cannot receive the letters himself, he will know that the world has not forgotten him. When I have spoken to him I have told him that his friends are still his friends and they still love him."
Most women do not want to speak with the alleged perpetrator of crime against them. In the September 20, 2010 Press Conference, however, it is clear Mrs. Steele believes her husband is innocent and that he has been set-up.
Grateful to be alive
Outside the federal courthouse in Coeur d'Alene, in the press conference on Cyndi Steele and the pipe bomb discovered under her car June 15, 2010 at Fastlane Quick Lube, and in a prepared statement for her first public appearance since the bomb was found attached to the undercarriage of her car, she said she is grateful to be alive - despite the fact that Larry Fairfax, handyman turned pipe-bomber, tried to murder her and her mother.
Mrs. Steele said at the press conference, aired in full by KREM.com (video below), that the FBI told her there are accomplices of Mr. Fairfax who have not been arrested or charged with crimes and she is afraid the FBI is not doing its job, failing to apprehend these crimes.
All she wants is what all Targeted Individuals want: truth and encouraged unbiased journalism to vigorously investigate and report truth. Mrs. Steele asked if the media believes in presumption of innocence instead of convicting people like her husband, Edgar Steele in the Press before PROVEN guilty.
Ask the hard questions of both sides and do not demonize the accused until found guilty in a court of law or admitted guilt, she urged the press. Mrs. Steele said that Larry Fairfax is the one guilty and admitted his guilt in his Plea Bargain Agreement according to Steele, pointing to Fairfax's guilt of attempted murder by his own admission and thus, he is the Idaho Pipe Bomber. She emphasized that Fairfax is a liar and thief and that her husband has never admitted guilt.
Steele said she is standing by her husband since she knows he is innocent and gives several reasons why provided by Hoyt:
a. Edgar Steele has proclaimed his innocence from the very beginning.
b. The government has NOT presented any proof of Steele's guilt and evidence they did present, such as the tapes, is flawed and untrustworthy.
c. Evidence shows Fairfax is a thief, a liar and an attempted murderer.
d. Fairfax was in deep financial trouble in May, having just declared bankruptcy earlier this year. He had told Mrs. Steele that he was losing equipment needed in his business and was about to lose his house;
e. Mr. Fairfax told Mrs. Steele and her husband how desperately he needed money, one reason they continued to give him work;
f. On Nov. 21, 2009 Edgar Steele almost died from an aortic aneurysm, only by one of God’s miracles that he lived. Over the next six months he had three other surgeries, the last of which was a nose aneurysm that threatened his life, again requiring another emergency surgery in May 2010.
g. The pipes froze in her family home this past winter and Mr. Fairfax came into their lives as “Larry the Plumber” to fix the pipes. In a weakened state, Mr. Steele became increasingly more reliant upon Mr. Fairfax to help fix other things at the Steele property. Mr. Fairfax became aware that the Steeles were using their out buildings as a place for safe keeping of their silver coins.
h. Because of Edgar Steele's weakened condition, Mr. Fairfax was able to steal $45,000 worth of silver coins from the Steeles. [Targeted Individuals have reported their perpetrator manipulates the situation so that the target become dependent on them, as a tortured victim is of his torturer.]
i. As Mr. Fairfax cashed in those silver coins, he became scared that Mr. Steele would catch him.
j. Mr. Fairfax had a motive to scheme the murder-for-hire plot. By alerting the FBI of the plot, he could cover up his crime, making it appear he was helping the FBI solve a much more serious crime.
k. Mr. Fairfax had been a DEA informant and had contacts in the government.
l. The FBI saw opportunity to concoct a story to implicate Edgar because he has been so outspoken and effective in representing the politically incorrect.
m. At Mr. Fairfax’s Detention Hearing on June 20, 2010, it was said that Magistrate Candy Dale made a finding that he wasn’t “…completely forthcoming in his dealings with law enforcement and has subjected people to danger and can’t be trusted to be released.”
n. Mrs. Steele says that it is an outrage that the authorities continue to believe anything Mr. Fairfax has to say, especially since the most critical information he was covering up was placing a pipe-bomb on her car in his attempt to murder her and her mother.
o. Mr. Fairfax continues to lie by claiming he “…made the bomb in a way that it wouldn’t detonate.” It was lethal, however, as stated by C. Todd Smith, a BATF&E agent, and the Coeur d’Alene Police Bomb Squad blew it up.
Mrs. Steele said:
“I don’t get how the authorities can continue to claim Mr. Fairfax was out to save my life. When is placing a lethal bomb on someone’s car, for any reason, being out to save a life? No, this is attempted murder and the government has failed to charge him with attempted murder.
“I still shake in fear when I think about the devastation that could have been caused if that bomb exploded. Not only to me and my mom, but to other family members, including my 2 year old granddaughter, our friends, and every person who was near my car as I drove through Oregon, Washington and Idaho in June.
“I still fear for our lives because Mr. Fairfax, as stated in his Plea Agreement, had an accomplice who went from Idaho to Oregon with him to check on the bomb under my car on May 31st; and the government still has not arrested or charged that person.
“Why was this other person, not Larry, the one who looked under my car for the bomb? Mr. Fairfax is the one who attached the bomb and would have known where to look.
"Why is the government relying on unreliable hearsay from this other person when it is coming through Larry Fairfax who has proven himself to be a liar?”
Mrs. Steele pointed out that Mr. Fairfax states in his Plea Agreement that he and this other person together, as co-conspirators, made a decision to assume that the bomb had fallen off of her car and said, "You would think they wouldn’t have just assumed, but rather they would have made certain that the bomb was off my car if they wanted to then save lives?”
“Did you get that? They decided that this lethal weapon of mass destruction was lying on the ground somewhere between Sagle, Idaho and Portland, Oregon, and the FBI did nothing about that.”
Mrs. Steele encouraged the media and investigative reporters to answer the question: Who is this person that went with Mr. Fairfax on May 31st to check on the bomb?
“Why hasn’t he been arrested and charged? Why is he still at large and allowed to be a danger to people?”
Due to an indication that the government knows identity of this person, Mrs. Steele wants media to ask the government the following two questions:
Why hasn’t government charged this other person as a co-conspirator since he/she helped Mr. Fairfax advance the criminal enterprise?
Why hasn’t government arrested this person as a co-conspirator since he knows how to handle bombs, willingly participated in a scheme that involved attaching a bomb under a car, knew about the bomb on Mrs. Steele’s car in May and is a danger to the public?
Mrs. Steele pointed out that none of these issues have been addressed by the FBI and, in fact, the FBI has completely ignored the public safety aspect of this case.
“Obviously, this co-conspirator was a part of the plot to murder me, which was also designed to do harm to the public --- what am I missing?”
Mrs. Steele pointed out that the bomb manufactured by Mr. Fairfax and placed under her vehicle could have blown up anyone, even the reporters at the Press Conference and their families.
“As if this isn’t bad enough, there is more. The FBI also identified two other accomplices to Mr. Fairfax who they said wanted to run me and my mother off the road.”
“When the FBI first approached me on June 11, 2010 as we were at my mother’s house near Portland, they, the two FBI agents, said nothing about a bomb under my car.”
The two FBI agents said some people wanted to kill Mrs. Steele and her mother in a tactic consistently reported by Targeted Individuals, by running them “off the road.”
“Why aren’t those two co-conspirators being prosecuted by the government?”
“Doesn’t anyone of you want to ask the government why those two people are not in jail right now under charges of attempted murder? And why are they still at large where they present a clear danger to our community?“
Call for media and reporters to look for real culprits
Mrs Steele challenged reporters to ask the U.S. Prosecutor and FBI: "What does it take to get you to do your job?”
Addressing charges against her husband, Mrs. Steele said, “I told you that I would explain why I believe my did not participate in any murder-for-hire plots… that is because I know Edgar Steele better than anyone. I have been married to Ed over 25 years and we have had a long, loving, bonded and mutually inter-dependent relationship.
“I know what he is capable of-- I also know what he is not capable of and he is not capable of planning to murder anyone. He would lay down his own life before allowing anyone to harm me and/or his mother-in-law.
“In fact, the idea that Ed would have a bomb attached to my car is totally ridiculous and preposterous because he loves his family deeply and would be devastated if anything happened to his children, grandchild, me or my mom.
“I do not understand how anyone could think that he would harm his grandchild?
“As an honorable man and a First Amendment Lawyer, he has spent his life solving crimes, issues, conflicts and peacefully seeking change through the legal system.
“Never has he been violent or advocated for violence.
“He has no time, no patience for, and certainly no interest in murdering anyone or committing any other crimes, for that matter.
“Now I ask you, how a person who refers to me as “His Rock” and whose favorite expression is: Equal rights for all and special rights for none would somehow have a reason to plot this murder-for-hire against me?
“It just does not add up that Ed Steele would be involved, but it does add up that Larry Fairfax, who introduced the idea of hiring a hit man out of the blue in their conversations about handyman things around the property, would do something like this and point the finger at my husband.
As reporters continued to question authenticity of Mrs. Steele's statements, she told them, "Let’s look for the real culprit":
"How about the person who is financially desperate, and who just stole $45,000 that he might want to cover up –would he have a motive to make up such a plot?
“As the Media, you should be very suspicious of the government’s accusations against my husband or anyone for that matter, when they present the real culprit as a person they want to protect with an 18-month Plea Agreement.
“As the Media, you need to ask, ‘Why would the government want to participate in a plot to blame Edgar Steele for something he did not do?’
“Then notice how the government’s story keeps changing: First they claimed that my husband’s motive was life insurance on me and my mother, but they could not find a life insurance policy -- because none existed. Then they changed their story about the motive two more times after that and it still doesn’t hold up, because Ed has no motive to kill me or his mother-in-law.
“Look, my mom's health has been pretty bad the last few years and because she can’t work full time, her house was going into foreclosure this spring. Ed, on his own, paid $3,000 to my mother’s mortgage company to avoid foreclosure this spring, so that she could have a “short sale” and still live in her own home until her house was sold and, hopefully, to give her more time to recover before having to move.
"This was Ed’s idea, not mine, because he is a man of charity, integrity and conviction. Ed has great respect for my mother, who now is so sick, she has faced multiple surgeries. My mother needs my help and I, as her only child, am a central part of her health care team.”
According to the attorney Wesley Hoyt, with a long history of defending Targeted Individuals, the press conference was to inform media that everything presented in the prepared statement by Mrs. Steele are reasons she objects to the pending Plea Agreement offered to Larry Fairfax. Hoyt submitted the following key objections in a written statement to the Examiner:
a. Manufacturing a firearm, rather than an aggravated offense. Judge Dale pointed out that Mr. Fairfax was accused of crimes of violence.
b. The present deal includes a probable 18 months of confinement, an outrageously “soft plea” bargain for a man who admits he attempted to murder her and her mother.
c. Mr. Fairfax is a proven liar who was not honest or forthcoming on June 8th about the bomb under her car. He held secret that fact for seven days, until after the bomb was discovered on June 15th during an oil change.
d. He is a thief and an admitted attempted murderer, so why is he being given a soft plea deal?
e. He is not the one who notified the authorities about the Weapon of Mass Destruction under her car. It was Josh Young of Fast Lane Quick Lube who did that.
f. He hasn’t been charged with attempted murder, possession of an explosive device in a crime of violence or theft of the $45,000 in silver coins;
g. The Government isn’t doing anything to make him pay restitution, even though he got the silver and cashed a lot of it in.
h. Mrs. Steele asks: “Is this the government’s way of paying off their Confidential Informant? By not charging him with theft so he can keep our money?”
i. And worse yet, is another pay off not charging him with attempted murder?
j. And, don’t forget: There are more Fairfax accomplices out there who haven’t been identified by the FBI or arrested and charged. If Mr. Fairfax gets off easy, these accomplices will be allowed to get off scott-free for their crimes.
Mrs. Steele stated:
“I don’t and never will feel safe until the FBI catches the entire Fairfax Gang and the public won’t be safe either. The Media should be asking the government the hard questions about capturing these bad guys. Please understand that I will continue to object to any Plea Agreement, especially a plea bargain that has no teeth, until the other three co-conspirators are brought to justice and Mr. Fairfax has been charged with the real crimes he committed: Attempted murder and Theft.
“Meanwhile, my mother and I, and the rest of my family are scared to death that someone really is going to kill us; if not with a bomb or by running us off the road, then by some other fashion. This should even scare you, because if they were willing to use a Weapon of Mass Destruction once on a couple of innocent old ladies, they are obviously ruthless killers who will do it again and the next time it could be in your neighborhood – And the FBI doesn’t seem to want to be accountable.
“My mother now is critically ill – This fictional drama about her son-in-law plotting to murder her and her daughter and the reality of Mr. Fairfax getting out in only 18 months and the other accomplices still at large are only making her health worse!
“You, as the media, need to help investigate, ask the tough questions and demand that the government does their job – so that the true criminals are convicted and all of us are truly SAFE!
“Once again, let me stress: The idea that Ed had put out a contract to kill my mother and me is ABSOLUTELY preposterous!
In a final statement, Mrs. Steele thanked Josh Young and his co-workers who discovered the bomb when she brought her car in for an oil change, and for calling the police. She thanked the Bomb Squad for risking their lives to remove the bomb from under her car.
“I also, want to apologize to all the businesses and travelers along Hwy 95, while they closed down everything around the location of the Fastlane Quick Lube because my car was there with a bomb under it. I realize that this was an inconvenience for everyone and a financial strain on their businesses.
"I’m just glad that we are all still alive."

j. Mr. Fairfax had a motive to scheme the murder-for-hire plot. By alerting the FBI of the plot, he could cover up his crime, making it appear he was helping the FBI solve a much more serious crime.
k. Mr. Fairfax had been a DEA informant and had contacts in the government.
l. The FBI saw opportunity to concoct a story to implicate Edgar because he has been so outspoken and effective in representing the politically incorrect.
m. At Mr. Fairfax’s Detention Hearing on June 20, 2010, it was said that Magistrate Candy Dale made a finding that he wasn’t “…completely forthcoming in his dealings with law enforcement and has subjected people to danger and can’t be trusted to be released.”
n. Mrs. Steele says that it is an outrage that the authorities continue to believe anything Mr. Fairfax has to say, especially since the most critical information he was covering up was placing a pipe-bomb on her car in his attempt to murder her and her mother.
o. Mr. Fairfax continues to lie by claiming he “…made the bomb in a way that it wouldn’t detonate.” It was lethal, however, as stated by C. Todd Smith, a BATF&E agent, and the Coeur d’Alene Police Bomb Squad blew it up.
Mrs. Steele said:
“I don’t get how the authorities can continue to claim Mr. Fairfax was out to save my life. When is placing a lethal bomb on someone’s car, for any reason, being out to save a life? No, this is attempted murder and the government has failed to charge him with attempted murder.
“I still shake in fear when I think about the devastation that could have been caused if that bomb exploded. Not only to me and my mom, but to other family members, including my 2 year old granddaughter, our friends, and every person who was near my car as I drove through Oregon, Washington and Idaho in June.
“I still fear for our lives because Mr. Fairfax, as stated in his Plea Agreement, had an accomplice who went from Idaho to Oregon with him to check on the bomb under my car on May 31st; and the government still has not arrested or charged that person.
“Why was this other person, not Larry, the one who looked under my car for the bomb? Mr. Fairfax is the one who attached the bomb and would have known where to look.
"Why is the government relying on unreliable hearsay from this other person when it is coming through Larry Fairfax who has proven himself to be a liar?”
Mrs. Steele pointed out that Mr. Fairfax states in his Plea Agreement that he and this other person together, as co-conspirators, made a decision to assume that the bomb had fallen off of her car and said, "You would think they wouldn’t have just assumed, but rather they would have made certain that the bomb was off my car if they wanted to then save lives?”
“Did you get that? They decided that this lethal weapon of mass destruction was lying on the ground somewhere between Sagle, Idaho and Portland, Oregon, and the FBI did nothing about that.”
Mrs. Steele encouraged the media and investigative reporters to answer the question: Who is this person that went with Mr. Fairfax on May 31st to check on the bomb?
“Why hasn’t he been arrested and charged? Why is he still at large and allowed to be a danger to people?”
Due to an indication that the government knows identity of this person, Mrs. Steele wants media to ask the government the following two questions:
Why hasn’t government charged this other person as a co-conspirator since he/she helped Mr. Fairfax advance the criminal enterprise?
Why hasn’t government arrested this person as a co-conspirator since he knows how to handle bombs, willingly participated in a scheme that involved attaching a bomb under a car, knew about the bomb on Mrs. Steele’s car in May and is a danger to the public?
Mrs. Steele pointed out that none of these issues have been addressed by the FBI and, in fact, the FBI has completely ignored the public safety aspect of this case.
“Obviously, this co-conspirator was a part of the plot to murder me, which was also designed to do harm to the public --- what am I missing?”
Mrs. Steele pointed out that the bomb manufactured by Mr. Fairfax and placed under her vehicle could have blown up anyone, even the reporters at the Press Conference and their families.
“As if this isn’t bad enough, there is more. The FBI also identified two other accomplices to Mr. Fairfax who they said wanted to run me and my mother off the road.”
“When the FBI first approached me on June 11, 2010 as we were at my mother’s house near Portland, they, the two FBI agents, said nothing about a bomb under my car.”
The two FBI agents said some people wanted to kill Mrs. Steele and her mother in a tactic consistently reported by Targeted Individuals, by running them “off the road.”
“Why aren’t those two co-conspirators being prosecuted by the government?”
“Doesn’t anyone of you want to ask the government why those two people are not in jail right now under charges of attempted murder? And why are they still at large where they present a clear danger to our community?“
Call for media and reporters to look for real culprits
Mrs Steele challenged reporters to ask the U.S. Prosecutor and FBI: "What does it take to get you to do your job?”
Addressing charges against her husband, Mrs. Steele said, “I told you that I would explain why I believe my did not participate in any murder-for-hire plots… that is because I know Edgar Steele better than anyone. I have been married to Ed over 25 years and we have had a long, loving, bonded and mutually inter-dependent relationship.
“I know what he is capable of-- I also know what he is not capable of and he is not capable of planning to murder anyone. He would lay down his own life before allowing anyone to harm me and/or his mother-in-law.
“In fact, the idea that Ed would have a bomb attached to my car is totally ridiculous and preposterous because he loves his family deeply and would be devastated if anything happened to his children, grandchild, me or my mom.
“I do not understand how anyone could think that he would harm his grandchild?
“As an honorable man and a First Amendment Lawyer, he has spent his life solving crimes, issues, conflicts and peacefully seeking change through the legal system.
“Never has he been violent or advocated for violence.
“He has no time, no patience for, and certainly no interest in murdering anyone or committing any other crimes, for that matter.
“Now I ask you, how a person who refers to me as “His Rock” and whose favorite expression is: Equal rights for all and special rights for none would somehow have a reason to plot this murder-for-hire against me?
“It just does not add up that Ed Steele would be involved, but it does add up that Larry Fairfax, who introduced the idea of hiring a hit man out of the blue in their conversations about handyman things around the property, would do something like this and point the finger at my husband.
As reporters continued to question authenticity of Mrs. Steele's statements, she told them, "Let’s look for the real culprit":
"How about the person who is financially desperate, and who just stole $45,000 that he might want to cover up –would he have a motive to make up such a plot?
“As the Media, you should be very suspicious of the government’s accusations against my husband or anyone for that matter, when they present the real culprit as a person they want to protect with an 18-month Plea Agreement.
“As the Media, you need to ask, ‘Why would the government want to participate in a plot to blame Edgar Steele for something he did not do?’
“Then notice how the government’s story keeps changing: First they claimed that my husband’s motive was life insurance on me and my mother, but they could not find a life insurance policy -- because none existed. Then they changed their story about the motive two more times after that and it still doesn’t hold up, because Ed has no motive to kill me or his mother-in-law.
“Look, my mom's health has been pretty bad the last few years and because she can’t work full time, her house was going into foreclosure this spring. Ed, on his own, paid $3,000 to my mother’s mortgage company to avoid foreclosure this spring, so that she could have a “short sale” and still live in her own home until her house was sold and, hopefully, to give her more time to recover before having to move.
"This was Ed’s idea, not mine, because he is a man of charity, integrity and conviction. Ed has great respect for my mother, who now is so sick, she has faced multiple surgeries. My mother needs my help and I, as her only child, am a central part of her health care team.”
According to the attorney Wesley Hoyt, with a long history of defending Targeted Individuals, the press conference was to inform media that everything presented in the prepared statement by Mrs. Steele are reasons she objects to the pending Plea Agreement offered to Larry Fairfax. Hoyt submitted the following key objections in a written statement to the Examiner:
a. Manufacturing a firearm, rather than an aggravated offense. Judge Dale pointed out that Mr. Fairfax was accused of crimes of violence.
b. The present deal includes a probable 18 months of confinement, an outrageously “soft plea” bargain for a man who admits he attempted to murder her and her mother.
c. Mr. Fairfax is a proven liar who was not honest or forthcoming on June 8th about the bomb under her car. He held secret that fact for seven days, until after the bomb was discovered on June 15th during an oil change.
d. He is a thief and an admitted attempted murderer, so why is he being given a soft plea deal?
e. He is not the one who notified the authorities about the Weapon of Mass Destruction under her car. It was Josh Young of Fast Lane Quick Lube who did that.
f. He hasn’t been charged with attempted murder, possession of an explosive device in a crime of violence or theft of the $45,000 in silver coins;
g. The Government isn’t doing anything to make him pay restitution, even though he got the silver and cashed a lot of it in.
h. Mrs. Steele asks: “Is this the government’s way of paying off their Confidential Informant? By not charging him with theft so he can keep our money?”
i. And worse yet, is another pay off not charging him with attempted murder?
j. And, don’t forget: There are more Fairfax accomplices out there who haven’t been identified by the FBI or arrested and charged. If Mr. Fairfax gets off easy, these accomplices will be allowed to get off scott-free for their crimes.
Mrs. Steele stated:
“I don’t and never will feel safe until the FBI catches the entire Fairfax Gang and the public won’t be safe either. The Media should be asking the government the hard questions about capturing these bad guys. Please understand that I will continue to object to any Plea Agreement, especially a plea bargain that has no teeth, until the other three co-conspirators are brought to justice and Mr. Fairfax has been charged with the real crimes he committed: Attempted murder and Theft.
“Meanwhile, my mother and I, and the rest of my family are scared to death that someone really is going to kill us; if not with a bomb or by running us off the road, then by some other fashion. This should even scare you, because if they were willing to use a Weapon of Mass Destruction once on a couple of innocent old ladies, they are obviously ruthless killers who will do it again and the next time it could be in your neighborhood – And the FBI doesn’t seem to want to be accountable.
“My mother now is critically ill – This fictional drama about her son-in-law plotting to murder her and her daughter and the reality of Mr. Fairfax getting out in only 18 months and the other accomplices still at large are only making her health worse!
“You, as the media, need to help investigate, ask the tough questions and demand that the government does their job – so that the true criminals are convicted and all of us are truly SAFE!
“Once again, let me stress: The idea that Ed had put out a contract to kill my mother and me is ABSOLUTELY preposterous!
In a final statement, Mrs. Steele thanked Josh Young and his co-workers who discovered the bomb when she brought her car in for an oil change, and for calling the police. She thanked the Bomb Squad for risking their lives to remove the bomb from under her car.
“I also, want to apologize to all the businesses and travelers along Hwy 95, while they closed down everything around the location of the Fastlane Quick Lube because my car was there with a bomb under it. I realize that this was an inconvenience for everyone and a financial strain on their businesses.
"I’m just glad that we are all still alive."

Edgar Steele Needs Our Help BY CYNDI STEELE!!

EDGAR J. STEELE has been entrapped by a legal system that presumes his guilt in the face of false charges. Ed, my husband, has been in jail and solitary confinement for three months in Spokane, Washington because of false allegations that he masterminded a murder-for-hire plot to kill me and my mother. I have never believed that Ed was involved in such a plot! Ed has defended the politically incorrect for years; people who, were it not for him, never would have had representation. Those who oppose Ed hate the truth and have threatened to harm Ed, me and our family in the past. Clearly, he is a political prisoner of the USA — and, quite literally, he is fighting for his life.
Here is the bottom line: Without experts to prove that false government tape recordings are only imitations of Ed’s speech patterns (using voice cloning technology); and without experts to present the truth about alleged explosives, Ed will be “sent to the gallows” for something he didn’t do. We have an opportunity to prevent this great injustice. This is not the first time the government has made false criminal allegations against innocent people. Thus, it is our choice whether we want to be a part of the movement to stop this kind of government-sponsored insanity. Let me tell you, we sincerely need your help.
I humbly ask for your assistance, as I am now financially strapped and unable to raise the amount of money necessary to provide a proper defense for my husband. Feds 'Disappear' Edgar Steele

Controversial Patriot writer and lawyer Edgar J. Steele, already jailed on suspicious charges that he tried to kill his wife with a pipe bomb, has been mysteriously removed from from a Spokane, Washington detention facility and taken to an undisclosed location, according to close friends of the Steele family.
In a letter to his friend Ingri Cassell, Steele wrote that the charges of attempted murder are preposterous and blamed his hired handyman - Larry Fairfax, a known FBI informant - for trying to cover up his own theft of silver bullion from Steele's property by trying to kill both Steele and his wife.
As the enclosed letter reproduced below indicates, Steele has been held virtually incommunicado after an initial court hearing June 11 determined he was trying to intimidate witnesses - in this case his wife and son - by instructing them on how to respond to FBI interrogation. Steele also claimed that tape recordings introduced as evidence were not authentic and had been doctored by the FBI in its attempt to authenticate the trumped-up charges.
Steele, 64, has a worldwide audience of tens of thousands of Patriot aficionados accumulated both from his noble record of public actions as well as his Conspiracy Pen Pal website. All these folks are nervously awaiting word of his condition and legal status.
Steele has suffered a recent heart attack and had other medical problems after which his close knit family nursed him back to health. Some observers feel that the heart attack was induced by forces unknown. His friend Dr. Allen Banks described it like this: "Basically the top of his heart blew off. Ed told me it felt like something had 'gone off' on his chest." Steele also had three other surgeries in recent months, as well as chronic nosebleeds that remain unexplained.
Steele most recently published a book titled "Defensive Racism," and is perhaps best known for his defense of the Church of the Aryan Nations in a sensational 2000 court trial which he ultimately lost. Friends speculated on why Steele would have been the focus of such intense federal interest at this time, and both Banks and Cassell indicated that it might have been because Steele was working on a new book about Israeli international slavery practices and its ties to several European governments.
As to whether the government's charges are legitimate, Steele's many friends and readers all suspect a government witchhunt on the order of what happened to Randy Weaver, George Hansen and Gordon Kahl. Weaver was set up by a government informant in 1992 in which his son and wife were killed, better known as the Ruby Ridge incident. Hansen was the Idaho congressman who tried to start an investigation of the IRS, but then was arrested on a pretense and shuttled around the country so his friends couldn't find him. And Kahl, another tax protester, was murdered by federal agents in a particularly grisly incident in 1983 after his decades of principled patriotic tax protests.
Steele's friend Dr. Banks put it this way. "This whole thing isn't logical. Ed is a very intelligent man. Intelligent men don't hire their plumber to kill their wife and mother in law. Plus, he has been quite ill over the past year."
The likelihood of the government's charges being true are "close to zero," said Banks, who is chairman of the Bonner Country Republican Party. "The likelihood of the government's charges against being false are close to 100 percent," Banks added.
Although Steele has been denied phone privileges while in custody in Spokane, and he has been prevented from seeing most of the letters of support that have been sent to him, at least one did slip through, and Steele managed to get a response to the sender, Ingri Cassell, widow of the late Don Harkins, founder of the now-defunct newspaper, The Idaho Observer. Cassell is also the founder of the Vaccine Liberation website.
Steele's message to Cassell, the only known communication to the outside world since his arrest, is here reprinted in its entirety.

Thank you for your letter.
All calls out are almost nonexistent. I was looking forward to seeing you and Al yesterday. I suppose they just turned you away? I haven't had a single visitor here so far and only barely been allowed to see my public defender. I'm not allowed to call my lawyer even until next week.
I am in Max Security, full lockdown, solitary confinement. Worse even than the treatment accorded Matt Hale. Most of mail is returned to senders - usually because of their using letters instead of full first and last names in the review in the return address.
OK. I am innocent, for what that is worth in Amerika today. Here is what happened:
My hillbilly handyman stumbled across a stash of silver bullion in one of my outbuildings - then searched and found two others (@ $15,000 & $45,000 total). Knowing I would discover the theft & know it was him. He tried to kill me with two pipe bombs he placed on the cars he knew I drove. They both failed to go off. Cyndi left town with one before he removed it, which led to the discovery of the car bomb on our Mitsubishi SUV.
This guy had offered to be a hit man before, more than once, but I dismissed him as a harmless buffoon. I had told him of the ADL & its hatred for me. This murder-for-hire plot is beyond my hillbilly hitman, so I assume he went to the ADL, which either fabricated tapes that he played for the FBI recorder or produced a mimic of me to make the tapes for the FBI on the spot. Regardless, I have been framed and set-up! BTW, the ADL was quoted extensively in the government's opening papers in court.
I haven't heard from my wife or son and fear they have been convinced by the U.S. Attorney Prosecutor of my guilt. I feel totally abandoned. What can you and others do? Ingri, I honestly don't know. Obviously, this is going to trial. I may well be convicted, which will be the same as a death sentence at this stage of my life. I am So depressed. I never expected them to come after me like this.

When asked why Steele would have anything to do with Fairfax, a known drug informant in the northern Idaho area, Dr. Banks added a little more detail about the man known only as "Larry the Plumber" to Steele's closest friends.
"Ed had him build a new garage with secret compartments, so obviously Larry would have known where they were."
Ingri Cassell, well known in Idaho Republican and health circles, told of her conversations with Edgar's wife Cyndi.
"For the record, I have been following the Edgar Steele fiasco since he was arrested on June 11, 2010 and kidnapped from his home in Sagle, Idaho. For a mainstream canned report, here is a link -

"Although I had a flurry of other activities I was committed to at the time, I managed to visit with his wife, Cyndi Steele, for two hours on June 21. I wrote Edgar Steele a letter on July 1, 2010 requesting that he call me collect. That never happened, nor the anticipated visit since I was told that he was allowed only one visitor a week and it is a big trip to make only to be turned down.
"Since I had another appointment in Spokane on July 7, I went to the Spokane County Jail and was told that he was in the custody of the U.S. Marshals, was not allowed visitors and could not even make a collect call. At this point I was concerned that he never received my letter.
"On the following day I heard from a friend who lives in Spokane and has tried diligently to visit Edgar Steele. When she went to the jail on July 8, she was told that he had been moved 30 minutes ago to an undisclosed location. And then I received the following letter today, July 9. Following this letter is a letter I am sending to our Idaho state representatives that represent the people in the District where Edgar and Cyndi Steele once lived. Cyndi is so traumatized by this ordeal that she is no longer living in her home, and is in a safe house with friends -- the Steele's former home is in shambles from the raid with floor boards and walls ripped apart... and many of their valuables stolen."
But the current story does not end there. On the day of Steele's most recent "disappearance," Cassell reports that federal agents went to Steele's house and tore it apart, removing books and papers, computers, and lots of valuable silver.
Cassell reported the event in a letter to three Idaho state lawmakers, Sen. Sen. Keough, and Reps. Eskridge Eric Anderson. The text of the letter follows:
"On June 11, 2010, a resident of Sagle, Idaho for 20 years was arrested by Idaho State Police and an agent of the FBI with the assistance of a Bonner County deputy. Edgar is well-known as a defender of politically unpopular opinion, acting as a pro-bono attorney for the politically incorrect and a man who admittedly pushes the limits of free speech.
"He was preparing to go to Spokane on June 11 with a trailer to pick up some lumber for a building project and had asked his friend Allen Banks to join him on the drive into Spokane as he has recently been in very poor health. When Dr. Banks arrived at Edgar's home, he was barred access to the house by Idaho State Police officers, but could hear talking from inside prior to Edgar emerging from the house in handcuffs and being placed in the back of one of the ISP vehicles and driven away. He later witnessed eleven cars carrying agents of the FBI at the house, conducting a search, removing precious metals and other personal items.
"Allen had no idea what was going on other than an FBI agent coming out of the house momentarily, at the time of Edgar's arrest, to declare that he had all he needed on tape and that he was convinced of Edgar's guilt.
"On that same day, The Idaho Statesman and Coeur d'Alene Press printed stories vilifying Edgar's character and claiming that he had hired his handyman to kill his wife and mother-in-law. These stories continued for the following days claiming that the handyman decided to reveal the plot to the FBI on the previous Wednesday before any harm could be done.
"There are a number of holes in this story which any child could describe. For example, the "handyman", Larry Fairfax, has been a federal drug informant in this area for many years. His prior membership in Aryan Nations suggests that he was a federal informant during those years.
"Based upon his history it is not unreasonable to assume that he is still a paid federal informant placed at the Steele household to defame this politically unpopular Sagle resident. The claim that Edgar wanted the life insurance money from the death of his wife also doesn't hold up - enough personal wealth was removed from the Steele residence by the FBI that the life insurance policy angle does not seem believable.
"Strangely, when the informant handyman 'came clean' he failed to mention the pipe bombs he had placed on the Steele vehicles. These were later discovered during a routine oil change. The story and the details of the "plot" so far revealed are bizarre enough that many believe the case to be a complete fabrication, not unlike those fabricated by the Soviet era thugs of the KGB. If such a story can be fabricated to destroy a politically incorrect resident of Sagle, what can these same federal police officials concoct to destroy one of us? There are so many problems with this story that many of us have grave concerns for our safety as Idaho and Bonner County residents.
"While first confined at the Kootenai County Jail, Edgar, an Idaho resident, is now held in another state - Washington. I went to the Spokane County Jail on Wednesday to visit Edgar Steele. The woman at the desk told me that he is not allowed ANY visitors other than his attorney, he cannot make collect phone calls, and he is in custody of the U.S. Marshal Service.
"However, when I called the U.S. Marshal office in Spokane, I was told that Edgar is not in their system. I was referred to the FBI which only was available as a recording. I left a message on a recorder. Another friend went to the Spokane County Jail on Thursday (7-8-10) and was told that he ( Steele) had been moved a half hour earlier to an undisclosed location.
"This is beginning to resemble the George Hansen case where Idaho Congressman George Hansen was kept for nearly two years without trial, moved from one federal detention facility to another just ahead of his friends who were frantically trying to locate him so they could obtain his release. His crime? Allegedly he was being held without trial for errantly filing some congressional disclosure forms. His real crime? Asking for a congressional investigation of the IRS.
"Edgar's wife, Cyndi Steele, and his children, Nicole, Rex and Kelsey, are not allowed any communication with him. Cyndi is not living in their home anymore - too traumatic to live in a home that has been left ripped up (floor boards/walls) after the removal of valuables and other personal belongings.
"She is in shock trying to avoid the media circus and has been unavailable except to close friends. I happened to arrange a meeting with her for two hours on June 21 after she had watched two of three video/audio tapes. Apparently Edgar had been videotaped over a nearly six month period, with agents invading her property while she lived and slept there, without her knowledge. What she shared with me in detail makes me more convinced than ever of this man's innocence. You see, my late husband and I had been at social gatherings with Edgar and Cindy and had been in their home on several occasions, both of us considering Edgar and Cyndi to be our friends. Not only that, but at least an investigator working on this case, Tim Schwering of the Federal Public Defenders Office has also noted that there is something terribly wrong about this case. Please feel free to call me.
"I am deeply concerned and need to know what you can do to intervene to make sure that Edgar is safe, protected and that his right to due process is restored."

Controversial Patriot writer and lawyer Edgar J. Steele, already jailed on suspicious charges that he tried to kill his wife with a pipe bomb, has been mysteriously removed from from a Spokane, Washington detention facility and taken to an undisclosed location, according to close friends of the Steele family.
In a letter to his friend Ingri Cassell, Steele wrote that the charges of attempted murder are preposterous and blamed his hired handyman - Larry Fairfax, a known FBI informant - for trying to cover up his own theft of silver bullion from Steele's property by trying to kill both Steele and his wife.
As the enclosed letter reproduced below indicates, Steele has been held virtually incommunicado after an initial court hearing June 11 determined he was trying to intimidate witnesses - in this case his wife and son - by instructing them on how to respond to FBI interrogation. Steele also claimed that tape recordings introduced as evidence were not authentic and had been doctored by the FBI in its attempt to authenticate the trumped-up charges.
Steele, 64, has a worldwide audience of tens of thousands of Patriot aficionados accumulated both from his noble record of public actions as well as his Conspiracy Pen Pal website. All these folks are nervously awaiting word of his condition and legal status.
Steele has suffered a recent heart attack and had other medical problems after which his close knit family nursed him back to health. Some observers feel that the heart attack was induced by forces unknown. His friend Dr. Allen Banks described it like this: "Basically the top of his heart blew off. Ed told me it felt like something had 'gone off' on his chest." Steele also had three other surgeries in recent months, as well as chronic nosebleeds that remain unexplained.
Steele most recently published a book titled "Defensive Racism," and is perhaps best known for his defense of the Church of the Aryan Nations in a sensational 2000 court trial which he ultimately lost. Friends speculated on why Steele would have been the focus of such intense federal interest at this time, and both Banks and Cassell indicated that it might have been because Steele was working on a new book about Israeli international slavery practices and its ties to several European governments.
As to whether the government's charges are legitimate, Steele's many friends and readers all suspect a government witchhunt on the order of what happened to Randy Weaver, George Hansen and Gordon Kahl. Weaver was set up by a government informant in 1992 in which his son and wife were killed, better known as the Ruby Ridge incident. Hansen was the Idaho congressman who tried to start an investigation of the IRS, but then was arrested on a pretense and shuttled around the country so his friends couldn't find him. And Kahl, another tax protester, was murdered by federal agents in a particularly grisly incident in 1983 after his decades of principled patriotic tax protests.
Steele's friend Dr. Banks put it this way. "This whole thing isn't logical. Ed is a very intelligent man. Intelligent men don't hire their plumber to kill their wife and mother in law. Plus, he has been quite ill over the past year."
The likelihood of the government's charges being true are "close to zero," said Banks, who is chairman of the Bonner Country Republican Party. "The likelihood of the government's charges against being false are close to 100 percent," Banks added.
Although Steele has been denied phone privileges while in custody in Spokane, and he has been prevented from seeing most of the letters of support that have been sent to him, at least one did slip through, and Steele managed to get a response to the sender, Ingri Cassell, widow of the late Don Harkins, founder of the now-defunct newspaper, The Idaho Observer. Cassell is also the founder of the Vaccine Liberation website.

I am in Max Security, full lockdown, solitary confinement. Worse even than the treatment accorded Matt Hale. Most of mail is returned to senders - usually because of their using letters instead of full first and last names in the review in the return address.
OK. I am innocent, for what that is worth in Amerika today. Here is what happened:
My hillbilly handyman stumbled across a stash of silver bullion in one of my outbuildings - then searched and found two others (@ $15,000 & $45,000 total). Knowing I would discover the theft & know it was him. He tried to kill me with two pipe bombs he placed on the cars he knew I drove. They both failed to go off. Cyndi left town with one before he removed it, which led to the discovery of the car bomb on our Mitsubishi SUV.
This guy had offered to be a hit man before, more than once, but I dismissed him as a harmless buffoon. I had told him of the ADL & its hatred for me. This murder-for-hire plot is beyond my hillbilly hitman, so I assume he went to the ADL, which either fabricated tapes that he played for the FBI recorder or produced a mimic of me to make the tapes for the FBI on the spot. Regardless, I have been framed and set-up! BTW, the ADL was quoted extensively in the government's opening papers in court.
I haven't heard from my wife or son and fear they have been convinced by the U.S. Attorney Prosecutor of my guilt. I feel totally abandoned. What can you and others do? Ingri, I honestly don't know. Obviously, this is going to trial. I may well be convicted, which will be the same as a death sentence at this stage of my life. I am So depressed. I never expected them to come after me like this.

When asked why Steele would have anything to do with Fairfax, a known drug informant in the northern Idaho area, Dr. Banks added a little more detail about the man known only as "Larry the Plumber" to Steele's closest friends.
"Ed had him build a new garage with secret compartments, so obviously Larry would have known where they were."

"Although I had a flurry of other activities I was committed to at the time, I managed to visit with his wife, Cyndi Steele, for two hours on June 21. I wrote Edgar Steele a letter on July 1, 2010 requesting that he call me collect. That never happened, nor the anticipated visit since I was told that he was allowed only one visitor a week and it is a big trip to make only to be turned down.

When she went to the jail on July 8, she was told that he had been moved 30 minutes ago to an undisclosed location. And then I received the following letter today, July 9. Following this letter is a letter I am sending to our Idaho state representatives that represent the people in the District where Edgar and Cyndi Steele once lived. Cyndi is so traumatized by this ordeal that she is no longer living in her home, and is in a safe house with friends -- the Steele's former home is in shambles from the raid with floor boards and walls ripped apart... and many of their valuables stolen."
But the current story does not end there. On the day of Steele's most recent "disappearance," Cassell reports that federal agents went to Steele's house and tore it apart, removing books and papers, computers, and lots of valuable silver.
Cassell reported the event in a letter to three Idaho state lawmakers, Sen. Sen. Keough, and Reps. Eskridge Eric Anderson. The text of the letter follows:
"On June 11, 2010, a resident of Sagle, Idaho for 20 years was arrested by Idaho State Police and an agent of the FBI with the assistance of a Bonner County deputy. Edgar is well-known as a defender of politically unpopular opinion, acting as a pro-bono attorney for the politically incorrect and a man who admittedly pushes the limits of free speech.
"He was preparing to go to Spokane on June 11 with a trailer to pick up some lumber for a building project and had asked his friend Allen Banks to join him on the drive into Spokane as he has recently been in very poor health. When Dr. Banks arrived at Edgar's home, he was barred access to the house by Idaho State Police officers, but could hear talking from inside prior to Edgar emerging from the house in handcuffs and being placed in the back of one of the ISP vehicles and driven away. He later witnessed eleven cars carrying agents of the FBI at the house, conducting a search, removing precious metals and other personal items.
"Allen had no idea what was going on other than an FBI agent coming out of the house momentarily, at the time of Edgar's arrest, to declare that he had all he needed on tape and that he was convinced of Edgar's guilt.
"On that same day, The Idaho Statesman and Coeur d'Alene Press printed stories vilifying Edgar's character and claiming that he had hired his handyman to kill his wife and mother-in-law. These stories continued for the following days claiming that the handyman decided to reveal the plot to the FBI on the previous Wednesday before any harm could be done.
"There are a number of holes in this story which any child could describe. For example, the "handyman", Larry Fairfax, has been a federal drug informant in this area for many years. His prior membership in Aryan Nations suggests that he was a federal informant during those years.
"Based upon his history it is not unreasonable to assume that he is still a paid federal informant placed at the Steele household to defame this politically unpopular Sagle resident. The claim that Edgar wanted the life insurance money from the death of his wife also doesn't hold up - enough personal wealth was removed from the Steele residence by the FBI that the life insurance policy angle does not seem believable.
"Strangely, when the informant handyman 'came clean' he failed to mention the pipe bombs he had placed on the Steele vehicles. These were later discovered during a routine oil change. The story and the details of the "plot" so far revealed are bizarre enough that many believe the case to be a complete fabrication, not unlike those fabricated by the Soviet era thugs of the KGB. If such a story can be fabricated to destroy a politically incorrect resident of Sagle, what can these same federal police officials concoct to destroy one of us? There are so many problems with this story that many of us have grave concerns for our safety as Idaho and Bonner County residents.
"While first confined at the Kootenai County Jail, Edgar, an Idaho resident, is now held in another state - Washington. I went to the Spokane County Jail on Wednesday to visit Edgar Steele. The woman at the desk told me that he is not allowed ANY visitors other than his attorney, he cannot make collect phone calls, and he is in custody of the U.S. Marshal Service.
"However, when I called the U.S. Marshal office in Spokane, I was told that Edgar is not in their system. I was referred to the FBI which only was available as a recording. I left a message on a recorder. Another friend went to the Spokane County Jail on Thursday (7-8-10) and was told that he ( Steele) had been moved a half hour earlier to an undisclosed location.
"This is beginning to resemble the George Hansen case where Idaho Congressman George Hansen was kept for nearly two years without trial, moved from one federal detention facility to another just ahead of his friends who were frantically trying to locate him so they could obtain his release. His crime? Allegedly he was being held without trial for errantly filing some congressional disclosure forms. His real crime? Asking for a congressional investigation of the IRS.
"Edgar's wife, Cyndi Steele, and his children, Nicole, Rex and Kelsey, are not allowed any communication with him. Cyndi is not living in their home anymore - too traumatic to live in a home that has been left ripped up (floor boards/walls) after the removal of valuables and other personal belongings.
"She is in shock trying to avoid the media circus and has been unavailable except to close friends. I happened to arrange a meeting with her for two hours on June 21 after she had watched two of three video/audio tapes. Apparently Edgar had been videotaped over a nearly six month period, with agents invading her property while she lived and slept there, without her knowledge. What she shared with me in detail makes me more convinced than ever of this man's innocence. You see, my late husband and I had been at social gatherings with Edgar and Cindy and had been in their home on several occasions, both of us considering Edgar and Cyndi to be our friends. Not only that, but at least an investigator working on this case, Tim Schwering of the Federal Public Defenders Office has also noted that there is something terribly wrong about this case. "I am deeply concerned and need to know what you can do to intervene to make sure that Edgar is safe, protected and that his right to due process is restored."

Did Larry Fairfax Get Released?
Another crazy turn in the Edgar Steele case. According to VINE Larry Fairfax the supposed pipebomber (and according to some sources hitman) has been released from jail!

It states that the charges have been dropped, meanwhile all news agencies are reporting that his trial is set for June 21.I will keep following this Larry Fairfax story and see if anything plays out.

Edgar J. Steele Pleads "Not Guilty"

Coeur d’Alene auto shop employees found a pipe bomb attached to an SUV belonging to the alleged victim in a murder plot Tuesday, just hours before her husband pleaded not guilty to a murder-for-hire charge in federal court.
Police confirmed that the device removed Tuesday from a car registered to Edgar J. Steele, who has been in custody since Friday, was explosive and required detonation by a Spokane bomb squad.
The discovery came just hours before Steele, 64, acted as his own attorney during a 45-minute hearing in U.S. District Court attended by his wife and son.
Steele, known for his unsuccessful defense of the Aryan Nations in the landmark 2000 case that bankrupted the racist group, pleaded with U.S. District Court Judge Candy Dale to release him from jail before next week’s bail hearing to tend to his clients and “put my affairs in order.”
“I’m certainly no threat to witnesses or jurors and there’s no evidence – absolutely no evidence – to support that,” Steele said.
But Assistant U.S. Attorney Traci Whelan told Dale that developments “within the last few hours” show Steele is “a substantial risk to the public,” and the judge ordered Steele held pending next week’s hearing.
Whelan was referring to the discovery of a bomb on the black 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor Limited that a woman drove to the Fast Lane Quick Lube at West Bosanko Avenue and U.S. Highway 95 in Coeur d’Alene, about 12:30 p.m. That same car was targeted in an alleged murder plot authorities say was planned for last Friday.
A worker saw what appeared to be a pipe bomb attached to the bottom of the car, removed the vehicle from the shop bay and called police, prompting an evacuation of nearby businesses and a closure of U.S. 95.
A bomb squad unit from Spokane detonated the device, said Lt. Jay Heintz of the Coeur d’Alene Police Department. It was deemed to be explosive, but Heintz provided no additional detail.
Police also were looking at another car parked at the lube shop that may contain evidence, Heintz said.
The bomb was a 1-foot piece of galvanized pipe with cap screws, with two fuses attached to the exhaust system, shop employees said.
Workers said they were more stunned than shaken when they discovered it during a routine chassis inspection, which comes with an oil change.
“Usually, we find things like sticks,” said technician Josh Young, who first spotted the device. “We’re talking Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Nothing ever happens like this.”
Co-worker Charles Tyron said, “We were all down there gawking at it.”
Young said, “I brought her (the driver) down to show it to her. She was surprised to see it. She made comments about death threats. Her family had some issue.”
Tyron said the car’s driver was “lucky it didn’t get hot enough to ignite.”
Steele’s wife and son were at the federal courthouse in Coeur d’Alene about 4:30 p.m. for his first court appearance, where he asked to be released while awaiting a bail hearing scheduled for next Tuesday. The judge declined and ordered Steele not to contact his mother-in-law and wife. What are they afraid he will talk to her to death? He didn't say talk to her against her will and as you can read below she clearly wants to talk to him.
Steele called the order “an unconscionable” assault on his marriage and asked Dale to consult Steele’s wife and son before ruling, saying they “are in no danger from me.
“They know me far better than the U.S. government does,” Steele said. “The United States government is doing everything in its power to try to drive a wedge between me and my wife,”
Steele’s wife and son, who appeared to be in his early 20s, declined interviews but spoke with Whelan at the hearing and communicated with Steele before the no-contact order.
Steele’s wife cried after the hearing and slammed her hand against a wall outside the courtroom. Why if she thought Steele was a threat would she even go to the courthouse let alone cry because he was denied bail and she wasn't able to talk to him?
“I need to be allowed to talk to my husband – I need to not be stripped of my car,” she said to court officials.
She met with federal authorities in the U.S. attorney’s office before being driven from the building. Authorities said she wasn’t in protective custody early that afternoon, but it’s unclear if that changed after the bomb was discovered.
Steele was scheduled to appear in court Monday, but the hearing was delayed after the U.S. attorney’s office in the federal courthouse in Coeur d’Alene received a letter containing a suspicious white powder and was evacuated. There’s no indication the powder is connected to Steele’s case.
Steele is charged with use of interstate commerce in the commission of murder for hire; the man he allegedly hired told the FBI of the plot, according to a probable cause affidavit.
The informant had known Steele for several years and said he heard him talk six months ago about people he wanted to kill, including his wife and mother-in-law, who lives in Oregon. The informant said he was to be paid $25,000 to make the murders appear to be automobile accidents. If Steele collected on an insurance policy, the informant would receive an additional $100,000, according to the affidavit.
The informant met with Steele in a FBI-monitored meeting June 9 at Steele’s home at 1569 Talache Road, about 10 miles south of Sandpoint near Shepherd Lake. The murders were planned for Friday; Steele said “that if the Black Endeavor were to leave he guaranteed that his wife would be driving it,” according to affidavit.
Steele gave the informant $400 to cover travel expenses to Oregon, which the informant gave to the FBI, according to the affidavit.
The informant met with Steele again on Thursday, this time wearing a recording device. The affidavit says Steele told the informant “he would receive payment when confirmation of death was received and Edgar Steele was not considered a suspect.”

Steele was scheduled to appear in court Monday, but the hearing was delayed after the U.S. attorney’s office in the federal courthouse in Coeur d’Alene received a letter containing a suspicious white powder and was evacuated. There’s no indication the powder is connected to Steele’s case.
Steele is charged with use of interstate commerce in the commission of murder for hire; the man he allegedly hired told the FBI of the plot, according to a probable cause affidavit.
The informant had known Steele for several years and said he heard him talk six months ago about people he wanted to kill, including his wife and mother-in-law, who lives in Oregon. The informant said he was to be paid $25,000 to make the murders appear to be automobile accidents. If Steele collected on an insurance policy, the informant would receive an additional $100,000, according to the affidavit.
The informant met with Steele in a FBI-monitored meeting June 9 at Steele’s home at 1569 Talache Road, about 10 miles south of Sandpoint near Shepherd Lake. The murders were planned for Friday; Steele said “that if the Black Endeavor were to leave he guaranteed that his wife would be driving it,” according to affidavit.
Steele gave the informant $400 to cover travel expenses to Oregon, which the informant gave to the FBI, according to the affidavit.
The informant met with Steele again on Thursday, this time wearing a recording device. The affidavit says Steele told the informant “he would receive payment when confirmation of death was received and Edgar Steele was not considered a suspect.”

Edgar Steele Indicted 6-16-2010
COEUR d’ALENE — A grand jury indictment on Tuesday was returned in U.S. District Court here against an attorney known for representing hate groups like the Aryan Nations, setting the stage for a high-profile murder-for-hire trial.
The attorney, 64-year-old Edgar J. Steele, is accused of hiring a hit man to kill Steele’s wife, 53-year-old Cyndi Steele and her mother.
Edgar Steele was arrested at his Sagle home Friday, and made his first appearance in federal court Tuesday in front of Judge Candy W. Dale. Dale said the grand jury decided on one count of “use of interstate commerce facilities in the commission for murder-for-hire.”
If found guilty, it carries a maximum prison sentence of 10 years, Dale said.
“My plea is absolutely, completely not guilty,” Steele told the court.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Traci Jo Whelan asked the court for no-contact orders to keep Steele from speaking with his wife and her mother. Cyndi Steele was in the courtroom throughout the hearing.
Dale granted the no-contact orders, despite Edgar Steele’s objections. He called it “an invasion of the marital state.”
The federal government is trying to “drive a wedge between my wife and myself.”
Steele, gesturing to his wife and son, who also was in court, said, “Ask if they have any fear of me.”
After the hearing, Cyndi Steele struck the lobby wall with her hand and was heard crying.
“I need to be allowed to talk to my husband,” she yelled. She also said she needed her vehicle. Her and the couple’s son were driven from the courthouse in a pickup truck without speaking with reporters waiting outside.
According to court records, now sealed by the court, Steele offered to pay a hit man up to $125,000 to kill his wife and mother-in-law in a car crash that would be meant to look like an accident. The documents say a concealed recording device captured Steele ordering the hit.
Also Tuesday, Steele told the court he had no money after federal agents “seized our life savings last week” when he was arrested.
He asked for and received a federal public defender. Dale found that, at least for now, Steele did not appear to have the money needed to pay for legal counsel, based on information he provided Tuesday.
Steele said he only wanted to represent himself Tuesday.
Steele is currently in federal custody, and is being held at the Kootenai County jail. He was in street clothes in court.
Steele asked to be released pending a detention hearing scheduled for next Tuesday, June 22.
Whelan argued against it, saying Steele is a flight risk and a threat to the public and case witnesses.
Dale ordered him to remain detained until the hearing next week.
Steele had argued that he has no money to travel, has “substantial community ties,” and has health problems, including a recent open-heart surgery.
“I’m certainly no threat to jurors or witnesses,” he said. He offered to wear an ankle monitor if released.
Whelan said there’s “overwhelming evidence of danger to the community.”
She said, “This is a crime of violence.”
She also said the case continues to develop.
Steele’s first appearance was scheduled for Monday, but didn’t happen after the U.S. courthouse was closed down because of a suspicious mail scare. A piece of mail was found with a white powder, which turned out not to be hazardous.
Judge Dale scheduled a trial date in Steele’s case for Aug. 16, in front of Judge Lynn B. Winmill.

The Framing Of Edgar J. Steele
Edgar Steele was arrested 6/11/2010 the same day the FBI claimed he wanted his wife and mother in law dead. He has been in custody for days when a pipe bomb was discovered under his wife's SUV. Now the suspect for planting the pipe bomb is in custody which is where the Fed's story falls on its ass.
Let's recap what we've been told. Edgar Steele for no apparent reason supposedly wanted his wife and mother in law dead. So he offers to pay some guy (FBI rat) to kill them but make it look like an accident. The would be hitman turns him in to the Feds who arrest him. Now while he sits in jail a pipe bomb is discovered under his wifes car, some stories say she brought it to the mechanic to get the oil change, others say it was a "female friend" of Edgars (as if his mistress does errands for him while in jail, taking his wifes car to get serviced no less, absurd) Next a man is apprehended who says that he planted the bomb May 30th but intentionally "manipulated the fuse to malfunction".
That is a picture of the bomb. As you can see from the picture wires appear to be going from the bomb to an unclear location. Anyone with even a rudimentary knowledge of explosives knows that in this situation the bomb would detonate when electricity is sent through the wires, usually rigged to a wire that is on when the car is turned on such as wires to the fuel pump, clearly if the bomb was planted May 30th (nearly 3 weeks ago) and has been driven around ever since the bomb is a dud. Bombs of this nature would either explode or not explode, no middle ground, no wait 2 weeks then explode, not wait till your mother in law gets in the car the explodes. So this setup would've been completely worthless for "making it look like an accident" which they claim was Edgar's directions.
When investigators got to the crime scene and discovered that it was a pipe bomb strapped to the chassis, it would be pretty damn hard to pass that off as an accident. There would be a huge investigation into it, unlike if say someone ran them off the road which might fly under the radar.
There are red flags all over this case, it looks like the FBI like the USPS can't do a damn thing right they can't even frame a political enemy.
To sum up I would like to address all of the inconsistencies of this story which point to an obvious framing.
1. Edgar Steele just had major heart surgery a few months ago, not likely that he would make any major move so soon (he has only blogged 2 times this entire year once in Jan 15 the last on May 21)
2. Edgar is still married to his wife, they weren't going through any kind of divorce or separation. Plus why would he want to kill his mother in law? It makes no logical sense.
3. He allegedly pays one hitman to make it look like an accident and another one simultaneously to plant a pipe bomb which could never be attributed to an accident. Again this is completely contradictory and nonsensical.
4. If the first bomb was planted on May 30th and never went off he would have to have known that it wasn't going to work, so why conveniently leave a worthless bomb attached to your wifes car since even if you were planning on killing her and ditched the bomb plan for a plan B you would completely blow your cover.
5. This pipe bomb plot comes out conveniently right before his trial happens and specifically the judge says "developments within the last few hours show Steele is a substantial risk to the public" and denies him bail.
6. His wife and son were at the courthouse trying to help him get out on bail, they aren't asking to be in protective custody because they fear for their lives, they aren't granting interviews saying lock this man up for life he's crazy, they want Edgar to come home.

Jews are the problem.
Jews have been the problem since before they saw to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, in fact.
Now they are bent upon World War III, just as they fomented so many of last century's wars.
Books, indeed, libraries, have been written on this topic. I scarcely know where to begin.
If you don't see jews as being at least part of the problem, then you are seriously misinformed and wandering in extreme self delusion. I won't even try to deal with you in this essay below this level. Go do your elementary research, then come back, because we don't even speak the same language as yet.
Admittedly, I have a somewhat different take on things, inasmuch as I have become such a target for them, daring as I have to stand up for free speech, against government tyranny and actually represent real, live racists in my legal practice.
I and my children have received death threats from jews. My professional reputation has been destroyed by jews. My law practice has been destroyed by jews (not difficult, since virtually every power point in the profession is occupied by them). All because I thought it was unfair to hammer the defenseless for being a little stupid. Of course, it turns out my clients weren't stupid at all! Little did I know...
So, there's the source of my bias for all to see. However, just because you're paranoid, as they say, doesn't mean they're not out to get you. And they're out to get us all, believe me. The more activist among us come in for special treatment. It's not for nothing that I use that tag line from "The Matrix" to close my essays.
The Matrix is a must-see movie for its allegorical take on society today. Most people are just batteries (see the movie - I'm not going to explain it here), while some are actively fighting the "agents." Without a Neo, we are hopelessly outgunned, but once the red pill is taken, there is no return.
Most jews play their roles, right along with the rest of us, in furtherance of the schemes of the NWO architects (they have so many names, but Olympians is the self-chosen one they seem to like best), but most jews are just batteries, too. There is a reason that America has become the second most-hated country in the world (after Israel, of course). We have bound ourselves to Israel and given over our media and our government to zionists. The recent bugbear virus has been sent to lots of people this past week, with my domain name embedded as the source. I've been getting tons of returns from people of whom I have never heard, and who have never heard of me. The virus gets directed to some poor sap's computer, you see, which then dutifully spreads itself to everybody the poor sap knows, with the return address being "poorsap@conspiracypenpal.com." Bounces and complaints come into my domain's catch-all mailbox. My equipment is clean, of course. ISPs, thinking I am the source, put my domain name on black lists, so that, henceforth, none of their customers ever see anything from me.
If it were just me, I would chalk it up to paranoia. But, it isn't. There are a number of the politically incorrect being targeted by the chosen who have been getting precisely the same treatment. So much so, that I suspect the bugbear virus is simply a cover for shutting us down.

There is a reason that America has become the second most-hated country in the world (after Israel, of course). We have bound ourselves to Israel and given over our media and our government to zionists. Bounces and complaints come into my domain's catch-all mailbox. My equipment is clean, of course. ISPs, thinking I am the source, put my domain name on black lists, so that, henceforth, none of their customers ever see anything from me.
If it were just me, I would chalk it up to paranoia. But, it isn't. There are a number of the politically incorrect being targeted by the chosen who have been getting precisely the same treatment. So much so, that I suspect the bugbear virus is simply a cover for shutting us down.

Edgar Steele Arrested In Murder For Hire Plot
** Edgar Steele is a smart man, and has stood up to and named the jews at every turn. He knows full well he is under the microscope, and he also knows that he is a perfect target for a setup like this. To me this case stinks and stinks bad.
A North Idaho attorney long connected to hate groups like the Aryan Nations has been charged by the U.S. Attorney's Office in Coeur d'Alene in a murder-for-hire plot to kill his wife and mother-in-law.
Edgar J. Steele was arrested Friday at his Sagle residence — the same day he wanted his wife and her mother to be killed in a pre-arranged car crash meant to look like an accident, according to an affidavit filed with the federal court.
"The United States Magistrate had found probable cause for the offense," said Traci Whelan, an assistant U.S. Attorney. "As for the timing of the arrest, it was prudent given he had apparently set a deadline for it today."
According to the court documents, a confidential witness approached the FBI on June 9 and told agents Steele had asked the witness to kill the two women.
The witness, who worked for Steele, said six months earlier Steele had initiated a conversation about a list of people he wanted killed, including his wife and her mother. The witness agreed to the plot and accepted money, court documents say.
The witness told the FBI Steele paid $500 in cash for travel expenses and promised as much as $25,000 if the murders were completed on Friday, June 11. According to the affidavit, Steele promised the witness another $100,000 if an insurance policy paid out after his wife's murder.
Court documents show the informant was wired during conversations with Steele, who told the witness the murders must be completed on Friday because of an alibi, court documents said.
"Prior to the interview ending, Edgar Steele told (the witness) that he has no second thoughts and he wants the plan carried out," the affidavit says."This statement was made multiple times during the meet."
The court documents say Steele told the informant if they were caught he would deny knowing them. But if the informant was caught and did not implicate Steele, the informant's family would be compensated.
It is unclear why Steele was targeting his wife. Wheelan said she believed the couple was still married and was not separated. Steele's wife was visiting or helping out with a health care issue at her mother's house in Oregon, Wheelan said.
Whelan said the complaint is just a charging document and is not proof of guilt. Steele will likely appear at a preliminary hearing on Monday, Whelan said. The case must yet go before a grand jury.
"Neither the FBI or U.S. Attorney's Office would proceed in a case where we didn't feel there was proof to charge," Whelan said.
Steele is in custody on federal felony charges, Whelan said, but she declined to reveal where he is being held.
According to his website, Steele is an author and trial lawyer who graduated from the UCLA School of Law. His law practice is “noteworthy for cases that test the limits of constitutional law on behalf of politically incorrect clients.”
He is noted for his unsuccessful defense of the Aryan Nations and its founder Richard Butler in a multi-million dollar lawsuit brought against them in 2000.
